Vintage Trixon Telstar Blue Croc Drum Kit

This Trixon Telstar kit in stunning blue crocodile finish is not something you see every day.

Built in Germany and known for their quirky, innovative designs, Trixon kits have become highly collectable — and this one has all the character you’d want from a vintage set.

As you may see, we're a piano shop, so not as clued up on drum kits as we are with keys instruments.  This came in from a customer selling their piano to us and bundled with the piano were a few other instruments including this drum kit.  Initially didn't really have much idea in terms of whether it's anything exciting but a bit of 'limited' research tells us that this would be a smashing addition to any drummers home.  The finish is stunning and eye catching so definitely stands out. 

We do have the original receipt from Drum City Ltd on Shaftesbury Avenue.  It was bought in 1965 for the pricely amount of £100, excluding cymbals at the time.

The set includes the following drums:

13 x 9, 16 x 16, 20 x 17 and 14 x 5 plus an array of hardware, cymbals, and beaters.

We think, in the right hands, this could fetch anywhere around £1500-2000, however we just want it to go to a new home to be used so would be happy with £1000.  Open to offers, so please get in touch to discuss.
